Walter Darr Sands is a filmmaker, photographer and visual artist from Walpole Island First Nation.
In 2016 he received the Karl Nathan Staats Award for Contemporary Media.
He is currently a Director and Producer for Sands & Sons Entertainment.

VIDEOSPORT: ALONETOGETHER, GOOD SPORT
2017
Worked in collaboration with Good Sport studio's Artist in Residence, Taylor Doyle, to conceptualize the theme of a VIDEOSPORT film exhibition and contributed the video installation piece titled "1998".
